Very dissatified

I was told I really needed these arch supports because of my Plantar Fasciitis. I couldn't afford them because of the thousands of dollars they cost so salesman talked me into a one year loan with no interest if paid off in that time.

I have worn these inserts daily and my feet hurt worse now than ever.

They have no return policy and now I am stuck with having to pay off this loan. What ever you do, do not buy these expensive inserts.

Lifetime Warranty?????

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a pair of Ideal Feet supports in 2009. I had to be re-fitted a couple of times.

I was actually losing my balance when wearing them. However, I found that after not wearing them for a few months my back and knee pain were getting worse.

So I returned to the store to be re-fitted again only to find the store closed leaving me with a pair of very expensive supports that were supposed to be covered and like so many others here with no where to turn without actually purchasing another pair. I had actually complained to corporate at one time about the customer service I received.

I was taken too!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Paid about $500 for custom orthotics. Product was great-went from 24/7 pain in my knee, leg, and back to no pain at all!!

Before buying the inserts, I could barely walk up a flight of stairs; after buying the inserts, I'm walking 1 or 2 miles daily, playing golf, working out at the gym, etc.

HOWEVER, I was told they were guaranteed for life. Mine have now failed (cracked/collapsed, etc.) and hear they've gone out of business.

It's bad enough that I'm out the $500, but what's worse is that all the pain is coming back. Guess I am screwed!!

It is really sad to see all these complaints and what has happened to Ideal Feet. ANY guarantee is only good till the business dies.

Here's the deal in my opinion. All the store could ever be is a cheaper ( and I do mean less expensive) alternative to custom orthotics for people who suffer from simple plantar faciaitis. All these other feet and ankle problems that people speak of should have been handled by a orthopedic doctor from the get go. The buyer did not know this going in, and I believe the sales associate, trained to help, didn't know the buyer actually needed more than they would ever be able to provide.

A company started with a good idea, but then you hire sales people, all with good intentions, but who are not doctors, and could never begin to answer all the foot needs of people who would naturally flock to their store for answers, this is what happens. It was a good idea on both sides, but ultimately doomed to failure naturally. People innocently come to them who needed a doctor to begin with, and workers who truly want to help but lack the expertise to deal with all the problems that would come their way. I too bought the inserts, it completely solved my plantar faciaitis, and my pads need replacing, but the inserts are still perfect and still work.

I'm so sorry to see so many so upset, but I can pretty much guarantee you that you are wasting your energies to continue with the futile barrage. The company is dead and you need to move on. So sorry.

I feel your pain, and pray you all find answers to your foot/ankle problems. SJ-Houston

Orthotics Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a set of orthotics a couple of years ago and went to the store today to get a replacement pair because they supposedly had a lifetime warranty. To my dismay they are gone.

They promissed a follow up call when I got the original pair, no call.

My inserts were good and have helped. But now I'm up the creek without an insert.

I also purchased a set of shoe inserts

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a set of shoe inserts and paid over $500.00. I went today to get a replacement and found out that the store closed down completely and according to another orthotic store they explained to me that the corporation completely dissolved!

So I am very upset like so many that I would be misled that I would have lifetime warranty/replacements. I also am out over $500.00 without any chance of receiving any help. I have checked online for a corporate number to call and complain but there is none. How can a company do people like this?

We really rely on services to help us physically .

I frankly will stick to Racers and Pacers shoe inserts in New Albany Indiana (or I can get the SOLE brand online for 39.99) way cheaper than Ideal Feet and fit well.

RIPOFF

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

What a bunch of crooks, I spent well over $800.00 on pads and socks and shoes all promised to help my feet, knees, hips and back. When I starting having more pain then when I went in the store I went back.

They would not refund any of the money, but they changed out all the pads and I still had horrible pain. I have gone back 7 times, to a different person each time and never got any foot relief, as a matter of fact my feet are way worse now.

They are crooks, all there is to say. I made a better business bureau complaint, they said they would give me a $600.00 credit to go back to the store, Why in the world would I ever want to go back there???

Lifetime warranty not honored

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The store closed and the company will not honor 1 stores lifetime warranty. I'm out $500.00.

They had good service and a good product but I now need replacements due to wear and use. With out replacements I will be back to using my cane in 6 months. I really did not like that the Main Corp. which I contacted in Texas would not honor another stores product.

I would have driven to Texas from Arkansas to get refitted and continue to walk pain free and w/o my cane. I have lost more than the money because I only kicked out this amount due to the warranty.

Ideal Feet - Store Review from Greensburg, Indiana

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had very intense pain for almost two years. I went to the store and bought a thin pair and thicker pair.

My wife had done so a year earler. We paid their very high prices based on a lifetime guarantee. Our pain went away within a month or so and never came back.

But 2 years lster we could find no stores in Louisville or lexington ky or indianapolis indiana. Places we visit and all had stores when we bought ours.

This story is very similar to mine. I got mine probably 3 years ago and was extremely pleased.

In fact, I was a walking ad for Ideal Feet because I told everybody I knew that they worked. The sales rep did tell me that my feet would eventually change and that I could go back for a modified pair since they had the lifetime guarantee. Now that I finally feel that I need a new pair due to some returning heal pain, they have shut down and thus the "lifetime guarantee" is for naught!

I think I'm going to have to try the Superfeet insoles which are fairly priced. www.superfeet.com

I finally got through to a person at this number who claimed to be trying to keep business going. But was told I had to send in my current pair to a very strange address and pay $25 or more.

I am not sending in my current ones and wait for who knows how long for new ones, if I even see them.

I have seen too many scammers in my life time. I guess I would not mind sending in a picture of my supports and may even have my receipt, but not sending back my supports until I see the new ones!

Went to store to request replacement - store left town a few months ago.

We knew that the product was way over-priced, but because they said we would replace them if the arches ever wore down, we paid it anyway. We even sketched the outline of the insert in order to prove, (if needed), that they had not kept the correct measurements.

After 16 months, we decided to have them replaced under their free replacement offer. However - can you believe it!! - the store had up and left the city.

There should be a way to bring this kind of bad business to justice. Why are not the owner's names listed as having defrauded the public.

Did NOT honor their guarantee, I lost over $500. and received no response or money

Horror story about this business - I went to Ideal Feet in early December of 2012 and purchased their inserts for over $535. I was told if I completed their 30-day camp and was not satisfied they would refund 70% of my money.

I stayed in contact with my sales person doing everything according to the rules. After 30 days I returned everything and was cheerfully given a refund slip showing an amount of $397. would be refunded to me by a check mailed to my address within 4-6 weeks. After the 7th week I took my receipt back to the store, giving them a copy and they said they said they would call to find out why I hadn't received refund and get back to me.

After approximately 10 attempts in person, by phone calls to the store, and calling the corporate number and never getting a dime of my refund, this was turned over to BBB. (The corporate voice mailbox was always full, so unable to leave a message, and the sales clerks NEVER got back with me.) I received a letter from BBB that they too could get no response from this company.

I can't believe they are still in business because they do not hold up to their guarantee to the customer.
